The Poisoned Wine
A king was hosting a banquet for his guests. He had a special bottle of wine that he wanted to share with them. He poured a glass for each of the 10 guests, and then poured one for himself. He raised his glass and toasted to his guests, then drank his wine. The guests followed his example and drank their wine too. A few minutes later, the king collapsed and died. The guests were shocked and terrified. They realized that the wine was poisoned, and they expected to die too. But to their surprise, none of them felt any symptoms of poisoning. How was this possible?
